Baume & Mercier

This company of long standing was founded by the Baume family in 1830. After merging with the Genevan jeweler Paul Mercier in 1918. Swiss Baume & Mercier made a name for itself as a manufacturer of sporty chronographs at a time when the wristwatch was becoming very fashionable.
